On monday, I went to go get venom bites. When I first got them done, they only bled a little and that was when the needle was still in my tongue and shortly afterwards for about 3mins. They piercer told me that it was normal.

This morning when I woke, the right side of my tongue had dried up blood on it. This was the first time it bled since I first got it pierced.
I started to move my tongue around and I noticed thick blood around the bottom ball. I cleaned my hands and grabbed a q-tip and tried to remove the blood, but it wouldn't budge. So I applied a force and pulled on it and I noticed that it was like a blood clot (i think?) It was super thick and stringy-like. So when I was pulling on the blood(clot) it wouldn't move because was some of it was still stuck inside my tongue, like the actual hole. I was able to break off some, but I wasn't able to get what's inside.

So it normal for a possible blood clot to form around the balls while part is stuck inside of your tongue?

Should I be worried?

Should I take the barbell out? And if I do, would the blood clot get trapped inside my tongue?

Is there a way for me to get rid of blood inside?

I know I've heard of others doing this as a preventative/proactive measure, but with the way she makes her living, it's pretty extreme.

I'm pretty sure that the piercer will tell me, but I wanna know beforehand. I have a pretty long tongue and im worried that it won't be able to get pierced because I have a lot of arteries (I guess they're arteries) to the side of my major veins (the long blue ones). When I flex my tongue and use a bright flash light theyre clearly visible, but I can barely see them when I stick my tongue out and lift it with a clamp. so my questions are #1- is my tongue pierce-able? like can I get venoms? #2- what would happen if the piercer was too pierce through the arteries(the smaller red looking veins)? #3 would major damage be done? thanks for your time guys C: Here are the pics

If my new job (when I get one) says I can wear retainers, that's the route I want to go. Of course if they say I have to take them out then I may just have to do that.
